What can we do with a pumpkin?

Jpumpkin-patch-store-pownal-vermont Are they hard to clean? I was reading over at Lentils and Rice about how to bake and "harvest"   (Get it? harvest party+ pumpkins? I couldn't resist!) the pumpkin flesh.  Pumpkins are everywhere right now.  I have a feeling that they will also slash prices on pumpkins after October 31stI have one right now but I plan to get many more.  You can find recipes ranging from vegetarian lasagna to pumpkin spice muffins at Allrecipes Pumpkin Recipes.  Want more?
